Pumpkin Run 5K Walk/Run

UPDATE – This is the final race course description as been outlined for the Pumpkin Run 5k (3.1 miles).
The race will begin at the north entrance of the Milton Baptist Church parking lot (Pike Street).
Participants will travel east to Harrison Street and turn right. They will then turn north onto Smith Street, turning right onto Florida Street.
Participants will follow Florida Street – turning north onto Jefferson Avenue –turning east on Union Street – and then south on Summers Avenue.
At Summers Avenue, the participants will turn west onto Highland Avenue, follow Highland to Mason Street.
The participants will cross Mason Street turning southeast on Kane Street, south on Brickyard Avenue.
The participants will then run west on US Rt 60 to the traffic light where they will then move to Main Street (traveling westbound).
The participants will re-enter US Rt 60 near Kipling Shoe Store and continue west and then turning north onto Stewart Street.
At the intersection of Stewart Street and 2nd Street, participants will turn east and follow 2nd Street to the downhill portion of 2nd Street and will re-enter US Rt 60 running/walking east.
The participants will re-enter Main Street, turning left at Kipling Shoe Store to Orchard Street, turning east onto Church Street where the race will end at Milton Baptist Church. |
